About Us

Etherley Farm is the home of J A Keen & Son. The Keen family have been farming here since the late 1950’s and are now in their third generation of farming. We produce high quality free range poultry all year round, with beef, lamb, hogget and mutton available seasonally. We specialise in Christmas poultry – turkey and goose and have been supplying the local area for over 30 years.

All our produce is grown, processed and prepared at the farm, which can be purchased directly from us at our Produce Shop.

Over the last 20 years we have worked a system to encourage wildlife, flora and fauna, alongside a low intensity production of poultry, beef and lamb. Hedges have been reinstated and restored and new trees have been planted. Our orchard has been reinstated with local and traditional varieties.

Alongside this, we have made use of government and European grants to make improvements to our produce shop, camping facilities, plant more trees and invest in equipment to make cider and apple juice. All of which makes Etherley Farm what it is today.
