Christmas Produce

 

Here at Etherley Farm we are proud to offer our high quality, free-range Christmas poultry. Bronze Turkeys, Geese, Chickens and Ducks. All our poultry is slow grown and reared from day old chicks on the farm. To compliment this we also offer our own bacon, gammons and chipolatas, produced from our outdoor reared traditional breed pigs.

Ordering

ONLINE SHOP

As in previous years, deposits are required, however, you may now choose to pay more when you order to help you spread the cost.

Each product has a dropdown box – simply choose the deposit amount you’d like to pay and add the product to your basket.

There is are minimum £30 deposit per Turkey/Goose (including Boned & Rolled, Crown, Butterfly, and Mixed Bird Roasts) and £10 per Duck/Chicken.

Deposits will be processed through our secure online payment system, with the balance due on collection in either cash or card.

You can order multiple items of the same or different products, adding them one at a time to your basket.

When you order online you will receive an automated email response summarising your order, including your 4 digit order number (you might want to check your Junk Email folder if this doesn’t arrive). Please bring this with you as it will be required for collection.

Additional Products

As well as whole dressed turkeys we also offer the following:

Boned & Rolled: the whole bird boned out, rolled and tied (allow approximately 0.25 kg per person)

Crown: the breast on the bone (allow approximately 0.35 kg per person)

Butterfly: the breast off the bone (allow approximately 0.25 kg per person)

Mixed Bird Roast using any combination of turkey, goose, duck and chicken. Please specify your preference in the order notes section at the checkout when ordering.

Bacon, gammons and chipolatas: all made in-house and from pigs reared outdoors here on the farm. Our bacon and gammons are home-cured without nitrites.

Chicken & Duck eggs are available for ordering by using the Order Notes section at the Checkout. Understandably, we cannot simply ask our hens to lay more eggs just for Christmas! So to meet the increased demand we source additional, quality free-range eggs from a local supplier.

You may also use the Order Notes section to order our own apple juice, cider vinegar and cider; honey from our own orchard; or local preserves and chutneys. All of these will be available in our shop when you collect as well while stocks last.

 

Helpful Information

Our main collection dates are December 22nd and 23rd, 7.30am – 6pm and December 24th, 7.30am – 4pm. Other collection dates can be accommodated, please specify in the order notes section when ordering.

Whole turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens are supplied with a set of giblets for making delicious stock or gravy. Other products are not, however, if you’d like giblets simply request these at the checkout under order notes.

Your order will be placed within weight brackets (1kg for Turkeys etc), as due to the nature of rearing poultry exact weights cannot be guaranteed. Please see our weight conversion chart for imperial and metric weights.

Please note that we do not deliver so collection will need to be made from Etherley Farm.
